“Perspectives from Our Hearts”
Folks from the beloved community will share some of their reflections. Elaine Friebele and Nancy Holland will speak through selected poems. Roger Gilkeson, having researched the word “queer,” will tell how it has evolved to reference gender identity. John Firsching will present a piece entitled, “Life at the Minimum.” Mike Doan will share his essay about confronting fundamentalists at a Southern prayer breakfast. The program will be in person and on Zoom.
