March 17, 2024 Make Plans Now to Attend These Interesting Adult Ed Sessions



Dumbarton’s Sunday morning Adult Ed programming offers interesting speakers, timely topics, and lively discussions, beginning at 10 a.m.

Mark your calendars now to attend these upcoming Adult Ed sessions:

  • Sunday, March 17: Professor Richard Rubenstein, author of 10 books, Professor Emeritus at the George Mason Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution, will discuss the current Israeli war on Gaza and ways out of the current conflict.
  • Sunday, March 24: You may be familiar with hymns such as, “Blessed Assurance” and “Jesus is Tenderly Calling You Home,” but did you know that they were written by Fanny J. Crosby, who is known as the “Mother of modern congregational singing in America”? Dumbarton’s Pastoral Intern Nya Taryor will lead this program.

Please note: There will be no Adult Ed on Sunday, March 31, which is Easter Sunday.
