A few months ago, Dumbarton parishioner Ginny Lapham and former parishioner Rev. Amy Stapleton traveled with women from the US, Ireland, and Canada on a tour of Palestine and Israel. They met with Israeli and Palestinian women, Jewish, Muslim, and Christian, working to promote peace and understanding in this dangerous environment. Most of the women traveling with Ginny and Amy were new to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and many identified as members of evangelical churches. With Amy joining us by Zoom from Colorado, where she now pastors a church, Ginny and Amy will share their experiences and discuss the social, political, and economic realities facing women in the region today.
