Dumbarton UMC and Mt. Vernon Place UMC are excited to be offering a Vacation Bible School (VBS) Weekend, June 14-16, for children ages 4-11. Our “Just Like Me” program, created by the Reconciling Ministries Network, offers an inclusive curriculum that helps kids celebrate their identity as God’s beloved creations just as they are!
This weekend experience will feature worship, activities, and learning for kids and adults.
• On Friday June 14, we start with a 6 p.m. dinner (@ DUMC), followed by our VBS program from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
• Saturday, June 15, we begin at 9 a.m. (@ Mt Vernon Pl. UMC) with a continental breakfast, followed by our VBS program from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
• We conclude on Sunday, June 16, with a trip to Common Good City Farm (300 V St NW) and our VBS program from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., followed by a Potluck Picnic & our Closing Celebration.
