Who doesn’t love the hypnotic, soothing and oh-so joyful sound of handbells, especially during the Advent season? Have you ever wished that you could be a handbell ringer? Well, now you finally have your chance!
Come for worship on Sunday, Nov. 19, and stick around following the service for an extra 30, no more than 45 minutes, to learn about how to ring handbells — in harmony with your fellow Dumbartonians!
This fun, hands-on workshop is for all ages and musical abilities. Just show up — no experience is required.
Melany Burrill will lead this fun exploration of Dumbarton’s own 2-octave set of Malmark English Handbells. After the session, she will organize a group of handbell ringers who are interested/able to perform during the December/Christmas worship season (and maybe beyond!).
If interested, please let Melany know.
