Adult Education

Sundays, 10:00 AM

We warmly invite you to join us every Sunday morning as we dive into a range of engaging topics, from Biblical and spiritual themes to current events, local and national history, and emerging research. Whether you're a member of Dumbarton UMC or not, you’re welcome to attend.

  • For an in-person experience, join us at 10:00 am at our historic location:
    3133 Dumbarton Street NW, Georgetown.

  • If you prefer to participate online, you can join us via Zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89889260574.

At Dumbarton, we prioritize social justice and explore how our faith informs our understanding of the pressing societal issues of today. Our presenters come from both religious and secular backgrounds, including guest speakers who are experts in their fields.

We invite deep discussion and critical thinking. While we raise thought-provoking questions together, we encourage each person to discern their own answers. Our discussions are lively, blending the perspectives of spiritual seekers, curious minds, believers, and non-believers alike.

Curious to know more? Check out some of our past sessions on our Dumbarton Adult Education YouTube playlist and see for yourself!

We look forward to exploring these important topics with you.
