UPDATED COVID-19 Protocols

In light of the rise in Covid-19 cases in our area, the Re-Entry Task Force met on Sunday 12/19/2021 and decided the following:

Be Kind, Get Vaccinated & Wear a Mask!
  1. As of now, Christmas Eve services WILL be in person with a Zoom option at 6:30pm on 12/24. We will be closely monitoring the situation and may make a different decision on Wednesday, but as of now, Christmas Eve service will be hybrid. Watch E-Chips, list-serv, and/or DUMC website for further updates.
  2. The Sunday after Christmas "Lessons & Carols" service on 12/26 at 11:00 AM will be on Zoom ONLY as planned.
  3. Sunday Service on January 2, 2022 will also be ZOOM ONLY. (This is a change.)
  4. Effective immediately we are requiring all In-Person worshipers who are eligible to be FULLY VACCINATED (including the booster shot).  If you are not fully vaccinated, please join us online.

As a reminder:

  • Masks and social distancing are still required inside the church building.
  • We ask people not to congregate in the sanctuary before or after worship, but to socialize outside.
  • When in worship please observe "no seating" signs and sit only with your family group.
  • If you are having any symptoms of illness, please stay home and worship with us online.
Thank you for helping us to keep the health and safety of our community a high priority as we continue to gather together in this most meaningful season.
