Worship

Weekly worship begins at 11:00 a.m. and usually lasts for longer than 1 hour. The Main Street Brass Band will provide special music during this service. During worship, nursery care is available for infants and young children through first grade. Following the children’s story in worship,  older children grades 2 through 5 may go downstairs for Intermediate Sunday School Class. Children are always welcome in worship and may gather with a parent at the Children's Table at the rear of the sanctuary for quiet activities. Refreshments and conversation follow worship in the Social Hall.

Bibles will be presented to Children today. This Sunday is a Children-In-Worship Sunday--the children grades 2 through 5 remain in the sanctuare. There is no Intermediate Sunday School Class. Children are always welcome in worship and may gather with a parent at the Children's Table at the rear of the sanctuary for quiet activities. Refreshments and conversation follow worship in the Social Hall. All are welcome!

Sunday Worship

These are challenging times.  Each Sunday during worship through Oct 1, we will explore the stories of people whose courage is inspiring and hope renewing.  We also invite those who gather on Sunday morning to contribute to a congregational witness for hope by writing their own examples of hope which they have witnessed in recent days. We will have paper feathers on which you may write your examples of hope. The feather imagery is taken from Emily Dickinson's poetry: "Hope is the thing with feathers - that perches in the soul..."

Following the children’s story in worship, young children age 3 through first grade may go downstairs for Godly Play Sunday School.  Older children grades 2 through 6 may go downstairs for Children’s Fellowship. Children are always welcome in worship.
