Christmas Eve worship will be preceeded by a live participatory Nativity beginning at 5:30 pm in front of the church.  In the Live Nativity, participants and passersby will be encouraged to stop and "play a rols" for a few minutes--or longer--and wonder "What was it like to be a shepherd? Or a sheep"  Or Joseph or Mary". Come experience a new twist on a tradtional service of welcoem to the newborn Christ.    Christmas Eve Worship begins inside at 6:30 p.m.

Adult Ed: Way Forward Update

Rev. Mary Kay Totty and Ella Curry: “The Way Forward: Update!” In advance of the UMC Special Session of the General Conference--to be held in St. Louis in February--our pastor and Ella will bring us up to date on what’s happening with “The Way Forward.”  The fate of the UMC in regard to the Book of Discipline and human sexuality is up for grabs—with three different options.   We’ll hear about a fourth option (“The Simple Plan”) and engage in a lively Q&A.   Adult Ed meets in the church Social Hall.  Gather at 9:30 a.m. for refreshments and fellowship.
