Sunday Worship

These are challenging times.  During worship from September 10 through Oct 1, we have been exploring the stories of people whose courage is inspiring and hope renewing.  We also invite those who gather on Sunday morning to contribute to a congregational witness for hope by writing their own examples of hope which they have witnessed in recent days. We will have paper feathers on which you may write your examples of hope. The feather imagery is taken from Emily Dickinson's poetry: "Hope is the thing with feathers - that perches in the soul..."

           Oct 1   --  Martin Luther King, Jr
October 1 is also World Communion Sunday and we will celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion on this day in solidarity with Christians around the globe.
